At the In our student residence Walter-May-House, you can choose whether you would like to live in a Room, Studio or Apartment. Our studios | apartments are all equipped with a small kitchenette and private bathroom, while in the rooms you share the large communal kitchen and bathroom with other students. When the weather is nice, the green inner courtyard invites you to linger and you can use the barbecue area with your friends.
If you have any questions, the Service-Point in the Ernst-Reuter-House is available during office hours – it is only a 5-minute walk from the Walter-May-Haus.
Location in Berlin
The Walter-May-House is centrally located in Berlin’s Mitte, district Wedding and is very easy to reach thanks to the S-Bahn ring and a subway connection. All stores for daily needs are in the immediate vicinity. Many cafes, bars and restaurants invite you to explore. Universities and colleges – especially the Berlin University of Applied Sciences – are nearby.

At the Walter-May-House you can choose between Rooms, Studios and Apartments. The studios | apartments all have a kitchenette and a private bathroom. If you rent a room, you share the bathroom (one bathroom each for men and women) and big kitchen (20 people per floor) with others. This gives you the opportunity to socialize quickly and use the kitchen to meet up with your new neighbors.
The quiet inner courtyard with seating area and barbecue invites you to linger in the summer.

Berlin Wedding has some gems that you wouldn’t expect to find here. For example, the district has a particularly large amount of green space and therefore has a high recreational value. The old factory halls and historic buildings are home to many cultural institutions that organize exhibitions, performances and concerts.
In the Arminius Market Hall, you can feast your way through the cuisines of different countries at a variety of stalls, snack bars and restaurants. The market hall is also open in the evening. Try it out!
