From our student residence in Genter Straße in the Berlin Mitte district of Wedding, everything is just a short distance away. Whether you are heading to university, to the shops or to the nearest café, distances are short and public transport connections are excellent. Despite the central location in Berlin, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There is plenty to explore in the surrounding streets.

The area around our student residence is known for its charming 19th-century buildings and a wide range of shops for your everyday needs. You’ll also find plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants that are just waiting to be discovered. The “BHT Berliner Hochschule für Technik” is right around the corner and many other universities in Berlin are also within easy reach.

The “Brussels neighborhood” is a vibrant district in the heart of Berlin. It’s known for its beautiful historic buildings, unique pubs, a brewery with its own bar and a variety of cafés and restaurants. Twice a week, the Ghent weekly market offers products you won’t find in supermarkets.
The area is also home to key scientific and cultural institutions, such as the Robert Koch Institute, with its museum, and the Uferhallen – an impressive complex of art studios, dance and rehearsal spaces, recording studios, a concert hall, an exhibition venue, workshops and restaurants.
