Our student residence in Brunnenstraße is part of the Mitte district and is just around the corner from the Berlin Wall Memorial, making it a hotspot of Berlin’s history. But the trendy districts of Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg are also just around the corner.

The nearest subway and streetcar stops are almost on the doorstep, so you can reach all destinations quickly and easily.

Around our Brunnenstraße student residence there are a variety of smaller stores for your daily needs. You will also find many cafés, bars and restaurants – whether for a quick cup of coffee or a long evening with friends.

The neighborhood also scores thanks to the many green spaces and the outdoor activities available.

Leisure activities in the surrounding area

Our Brunnenstraße student residence is located in the middle of a place rich in history. The Berlin Wall ran just a few steps away. Remains of it can be seen in the park on Bernauer Strasse. If you want to find out more, visit the Berlin Wall Memorial just opposite. The “Berliner Unterwelten” also provide fascinating insights with guided tours through the Berlin underground. Here, for example, you can visit tunnels that people used to escape to the western part of the city during the Cold War. The Mauerpark is legendary, where there is always a flea market and karaoke events at the weekend. There are also several beer gardens in the park.

Thanks to the location of our student residence, you can quickly reach the city center or Prenzlauer Berg, where you can discover lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and clubs, as well as Berlin sights.
